Posted in What's New on 08/19/2005 04:00 pm by Tiffany Jo AllenThis was one of the busiest weeks of my life. I spent the week recording with 3 of the most awesome musicians in the world!!! I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with incredibly talented people. I always say Eric Hansen is a “genius” producer and Jim Brady is a “genius” at recording. Jim has told me some fabulous stories about some of his clients like Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Neil Diamond…….the list goes on and on. I was at Jim’s studio for 4 days this week. And, this is the third month we’ve been working. BUT…..it won’t be long before it’s DONE! I am so excited!!!!
So this week, I did recording school in the daytime and school, school at night! ha I am learning about life, business, music, instruments, composition and people while recording. I’ve had some incredibly frustrating moments and some absolutely hilarious moments. It’s amazing how much you depend on other people in the studio. Every single person is such an important piece of the puzzle and without them you would have nothing. And, every single strum of the guitar, beat of the drum and breath you take has to be just perfect.
Those guys have the best ears on earth!!! I’ll tell ya more later!
