Tiffany Jo and Hatch, New Mexico

O.K. I must confess. After spending a long weekend in Hatch, New Mexico, I actually like it enough to move there. I told my mom and dad that someday I would like to live there.
Why? The town is really small. Infact, there is only one motel. And, the people there are some of the nicest I have met.
That’s good enough for me.

Tiffany Jo sings with the Desperados

One of my most memorable moments in Hatch was singing with the Desperados! The Desperados did a great show on Saturday night and I was honored to have been asked to sing a song with them!
They are awesome! And, I look forward to singing with them again!

Back from the Chile Festival in Hatch, New Mexico

Performing at the Hatch Chile Festival was one of my all time favorites. I did a 45 minute show both Saturday and Sunday! My Nana Jo on back up guitar and John Payne on bass also played with me.

The audience was huge, the sound system was phenomenal and Jim and Charlotte Tomlinson, Wade Worrell and “Big” Loyd made me feel like family. Charlotte is an awesome cook and my family and I loved spending time with them Friday night. I absolutely loved her chocolate cake! YUM I also got to meet their daughter, son-in-law and adorable little grandson, Christopher.

A jam session with Jim Tomlinson, Scotty Fitch, Gary Milton, John Payne and others was so much fun. Scotty and I sung and sung and sung. Then my buddy Joe Baker and his wife arrived which was really neat. That had to be one of the funnest nights I can remember. You’ll see pictures of that fun evening real soon in my scrapbook in my website if you’d like to take a look.

Not to mention getting to play with Jim’s boxer named Rufus. And, to top it off, I got to meet the biggest steer in the world!!!! At least that I”ve ever seen……..up close and personal. His name is Jake and his horns must have been 8 ft. across. He was huge. I’m gonna get ole Jake’s picture in my scrapbook real soon.

I also got to see Jim’s awesome collection of movie posters. I’ll have a picture of us in that room on my website soon in the scrapbook.

I will never forget our time in Hatch, New Mexico. It was very special. If you ever get the chance to go to the Hatch Chile Festival make sure you go!
