It’s actually COLD in Arizona! Yippeeeeeeeeeeee!
It got down in the 20′s last night!
It actually feels like winter……….hot cocoa, warm coats and of course lots of music! ya
We have a couple really neat opportunities coming up. So, we’ve been practicing, practicing!
I’ll write more about that soon. I just love performing this time of year! Ever heard a Christmas Yodel!

School is going great……..tons of work but that’s middle school.
I had the opportunity to go on an awesome archeological dig! We found some amazing artifacts and I”m looking forward to going back.
I love biology. We dissected an earthworm last week. I had no idea just how complex they are. I’m part of a science coop. with my best friend. It’s great! Her mom actually taught anatomy at the University so we’re getting a pretty indepth course.

Well today is Saturday and the third day for the Round Up!!!!! My nana Jo and I did showcases yesterday and we have three more today. Then tonight…….we’ll be in the Saturday NIght Tribute Concert to Dean Armstrong. And, tonight two of my favorite musicians will join us……..Bob Nible on Bass and Rusty Dutton on fiddle.
Our regular bass player, John Payne, fell on Wed. night and broke 3 ribs!!!!!! OUCH
We sure miss him playing with us.
My little brother is also learning the lasso by none other than KC and the Wranger.
I am in awe at some of the talent here.
People like Dean Armstrong, Johnny Bencommo, Jon Messenger, Jim Tomlinson, Joe Baker………….and many others. And, they have become good friends. I have received some very valuable advice from some of these gentlemen. Advice on music and advice on life. I respect their talent and I respect them.
They are good, “down to earth” people.
