Cochise Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering

Well, my brother, mom and dad are all feeling better. whew……………
My brother still looks pale but the poor little guy is getting better. We had to cancel his birthday party two times this month. But, he’ll have it soon.

WOW………only a couple weeks until the Cochise Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering. This is one of my favorites. I love it!!!!!!!!!! Three days of Cowboy Music and poetry. I have made some of the best “musician” friends and I’ll get to see them all. I’ve been asked to entertain at a Middle School before the festival starts and I can’t wait!!!!!!!!! I love playin’ for schools.

The festival starts the weekend of February 4th. It’s actully held at a highschool in Sierra Vista and I know why. The crowds are huge.

The folks putting it on are amazing. Steve Conroy and the others are so kind. We have known Steve for several years now and he is truly a “class act.” He and I performed for the Tucson Convention and Visitors Bureau and he is an incredible Cowboy Poet. I love his poetry because you can see it in your mind. He doesn’t just rattle off words…………..he tells a story and his poetry is beautiful.

So, if you want to see incredible talented singers, fiddlers, poets and more come to the Cochise Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering.
See ya there,
Tiffany Jo

The flu in Tucson

Heard the news? Yep, Tucson is the hot spot this year for the flu. Actually, I feel like our house is the hot spot for the flu. My whole family is sick. My little brother got it real bad. He has been very sick for almost 2 weeks. My mom and dad are also sick but they don’t have it as bad.

I’m trying to help them all and stay away from them too. I keep spraying things with Lysol Disenfectant. No one likes to get sick and invariably when I get sick it hits right in my throat.

Hope you are well.
Remember, Lysol Disenfectant Spray will keep the germs away. It’s worked for me so far.

Have a great day,
Tiffany

Tucson Pig Jig

I just played at one of the funnest venues. It was at a beautiful RV Resort in Tucson. It was a private party and there were hundreds of people there. Yes, it was a pig roast. We entertained after dinner and they were one of the liveliest crowds.
The people were dancing, dancing, dancing. They waltzed, they did line dancing……..you name it and they were awesome. They just kept dancing. They wanted me to keep singing so I did.
Again, I met some of the most wonderful folks.
It was so much fun and I loved every minute of it.
It’s so inspiring to get a great audience. I left there and was ready to keep playin’ music!!!!!
Have a great day,
Tiffany Jo

Family Arts Festival

I have never seen so much talent in any place in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We landed on the big stage this year right before Battle of the Bands. If you like Raggae, chinese, country, heavy metal, new age, folk, scottish, western etc………….this is the place for you. This is truly one of the most interesting melting pots of awesome talent from all over the world. I think practically all of Tucson was there.
This was our 3rd year to play and it was very fun.
I love supporting the city of Tucson. Mayor Walkup and the city council has been VERY good to me.
They honored me with the Copper Plaque of Tucson a couple years ago. I got to perform at City Hall for the council. I”ll never forget their kindness.
So………make sure you get to the Family Arts Festival next year.
Later,
TJ

Fiddler Fest

Glad to be back on the blog. For some reason we couldn’t get in to write anything. January has been so busy. We’ve been hopin’ from one gig to the next. We started this month at Fiddler Fest. That is truly one of my favorite places. This was our third year and every year I love it more and more. We have made so many friends from all over and they come back. It’s so great to see them.
Every year I get to meet some of the most interesting people. I love chattin’ with them. We have such a great time. They love western music, they love yodeling, they love old country tunes and yes I got a request for “new” country. Hope to see ya on the trail. Gotta go…………….
Talk soon,
Tiffany
