Tiffany Jo opens for the Drifters!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!! We got to do a 45 minute open for the Drifters last night!!!
The sound equipment and the fancy lights were just amazing!!! Thousands of people showed up!!!! It was so awesome!
I was fortunate to have my Nana on back up guitar, John Payne on bass and Rusty Dutton on fiddle. We cranked out one song after another to an absolutely wild crowd! It was an experience I will never forget.
And the DRIFTERS were absolutely awesome!!!!!! Their show was incredible. They are sooooo talented. Every single beat, every single move they made was just amazing. They were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. They were so together on every song. I love listening to them and watching them was such a treat. ANd, the crowd all sang along with them.
They were also very funny!

After the show the Drifters were having dinner and I was taken back to meet them all. They were some of the nicest guys in the world. They invited me to eat with them. They all signed my guitar and then one of their wives started taking pictures. It was an experience I will never forget.

The Drifters are just as nice as they are talented! I will never forget that night!
If you ever have the chance to see the Drifters in concert…..GOOOOOOOOOOO!

See ya “Up on the Roof !”

My little stray died.

I’m so sad. The little stray we rescued died.
I feel so badly because we searched so hard for his owners and never did find them.
The vet had diagnosed him with renal failure. Actually, along with all the other tests, he did a full body xray. And, poor little Baby Joe even had a pin in his back from a broken pelvis.
Anyway, we were so upset we even took him to another vet for a second opinion.
He wasn’t eating very good. We tried everything. My mom and I spent most of our days trying to fix something he liked. He stopped eating beef, chicken…..everything.
Monday morning he raised up and his back legs went out. We tried and tried to help him and we hoped something good would happen but he never was able to walk again.
He was so restless and the vet could not see him. The only way he would stop trying to drag his little body is if I laid next to him.
He and I laid in the floor most of the day until the vet could see him at 3:30.
The vet found that Baby Joe had no reflexes in his little back feet.
He had a neurological problem and he was so ill that they could not do surgery.
He had to be put to sleep. I am so sad.

Festival of the West

Howdy,
Did any of you guys go to West Fest?

It was so much fun! The crowd was great up there.

I love Rawhide! It looks just like an old western town.

There were thousands of people!!!

I got to see some of my good friends and fellow performers!

Rawhide has moved to Chandler so whether you live in Phoenix or Tucson it’s very close. But, actually there were folks there from all over the world!!!!

If you’ve never been to the National Festival of the West you’ve got to check it out next year!

Talk later,
Tiffany Jo

Tiffany JO and National Junior Honor Society

What a beautiful induction ceremony. I was not for sure what this would all be like but it was awesome. The induction ceremony for National Junior HOnor Society was held at the Radisson Hotel. It was a lovely candle lite ceremony. There were 9 kids inducted. They presented us with a gorgeous certificate and card. Afterwards, we had cake and lemonade.
You know I worked very hard for months but it sure was worth it.
My mom and dad, brother, grandma from New York and my Nana Jo and Papa all came to the ceremony.
Afterwards we all went to McDonalds for a snack and ice cream.
Just wanted to share.
Hope you’re havin’ a good day.
TJ
