I’ve had the awesome opportunity to work with the company that publishes the children’s internet books a few more times this summer. They are some of the nicest people and the recording studio they use is superb.
I REALLY enjoy singing songs that will be published for children. It’s been a really, really fun project. I even got to do a song that was written by a woman who writes for Sesame Street.

I am getting to experience SO many different opportunities through my music and I am so grateful.

Well, I will admit, I love to stay busy.
When I was sick with that whole latex thingy…….between school work ……..I started doing Ukranian eggs.
Actually, I was at a cultural celebration at the mall and met a couple from Russia who were doing the most beautiful eggs I have ever seen.
I watched them forever and ended up at their home the next day looking at all the eggs they have done.
They are so talented.
I was able to get all the “tools” I needed from them. I have always done the eggs with a candle and nail but NOW I have the actual kitska to do the eggs, plus beeswax and all the dyes.
If you have never seen a Ukranian egg it’s done with hot wax and dye. I think they are beautiful.

Sorry I have not been writing lately. I’ve never been so sick in my life. It turns out that throat infection was not really a throat infection but I was having a severe reaction to latex. The allergist says it was either something on my braces or the constant exposure to it in the orthodontist office. I am very allergic to latex.

They took all my braces off and I started feeling much better. At least I can breath again.

I”ve been singing for 7 years and only cancelled one show due to a bad cold. Since this started in January, I have had to cancel 9 shows. It’s an awful feeling to keep going to doctors and not be getting better but thank God we finally got a diagnosis.

WOW……this has been a rough few weeks. After much testing, the Dr. discovered I had a bacterial throat infection. Don’t ask me what that is but it wasn’t fun. After several trips to the hospital, and a ton of different tests……they finally found out what was going on. Fortunately with the right antibiotic and Motrin, the infection is gone and the swelling is going down too!

We are gearing up for a show in Phoenix this Sat. night! I can’t wait!

Remember this…..if you can’t breath……before they do catscans, xrays etc. etc. etc…….have them check your throat. ugh
